Words have the power to build or destroy. In many cases the words that are said are more powerful than a gun or bomb. Words used in prayer have the same effect. Let us pray for life and not death. Let us pray for peace and love, not hate and war.
Use your words of power in prayer, not to curse or profane . The words you speck have power. Speck in love, not hate. Speck to heal, not to hurt. Speck to build up, not to destroy.
Words have power, be careful where you point them.

Your Spiritual Growth Is In Your Hands
This is going to be very brief. I am going to give you something to think about as it regards religion and the organized church. They are some Churches, Sects, Orders and Denominations that are not interested in your spiritual growth. They are not interested in you growing in faith and spiritual power, just coming to church (for your money) and not learning what you need to do to change your life for the better. We are here for three reasons as I see it: 1) to love God; 2) to love each other; 3) to experience life to the utmost!
The church is not a building, it is you! Religion is enslavement to a physical structure, a deity, a certain denomination and/or sect. God wants you to be free. Jesus wants you to be free. In fact, Jesus, never wanted a religion to be constructed based upon his teachings. Jesus taught that you are the church and you are to love God and each other, nothing more. Read your WORD and learn for yourself. It is true we all need guidance , but we learn through experience, not from what we are shown, taught, preached to, terrorized or brainwashed to believe. Just think about it.
When Jesus said that Peter is the Rock upon which he will build his Church (Matt16:15-17).Jesus was telling them that the statement that Peter said, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God." These words are the foundation of the Church. What Peter said that showed his faith and belief in who Jesus is, that is the foundation upon which the Church will be built, not Peter himself. The "keys" are faith, love, and knowledge of the word that will give you the kingdom of heaven! I am not trying to change what you believe, only you can do that. I just want you to thing about how "Organized Religion" has "misused" God's word to suit the "needs" of those in power. Check it out for yourself!

Prayer Is Needed
There are a lot of things going on in the world today that I could talk about, but I only see that we are not doing what we can to stop the increase in violence among the young people of this country.
Everyone is concentrating on the economy, but no one is looking at the growing number of crimes among our children and young adults. They are killing each other with no regards or respect for life.
In most cases we are just standing by letting them do it. If you are fearful, lacking faith, or don't know what to do. Pray.
Prayer has the power to change things. Don't get it wrong , it is not going to change over night, but you have to start somewhere. Start with Prayer. The power is going to come when you and I pray together, along with everyone else.
That those that pray the same prayer can change the way life is, into what life can be. It can be peaceful, joyous, happy, prosperous, and wonderful. It all starts with prayer. Just try it, wait and watch what happens.

Are we Being Fooled?
In remembering 9/11, I have great respect and give honor to all those that died and had lost someone that day. Their sacrifice SHALL ALWAYS BE A PART OF ALL OUR LIVES. I just believe that we, as a nation will end up giving up more than what many people thing we need to in order to "feel" safe. How great a sacrifice do we need to make for those that call themselves are Leaders or government officials? President Bush signed into law, the Homestead Act, which allowed a great number of changes that in time could take away our Bill of Rights. The reason I am saying this is that I believe, the way the laws are structured, we have given away our freedom to those that are suppose to protect us, in order give us a "safe and secure" nation . The Homeland Security Act gives the government broad powers to the President,NSA , Homestead Security Department, Secret Service, FBI, Military, CIA and local Law enforcement in order to locate and prevent terrorism within the USA. I know that the Bush Administration has push this through at a time when we as a nation was in morning. They knew that we would be emotional and not consider what effect this will have on our children. We all wanted revenge (although, vengeance belongs To God alone) and justice for what had been done to the most "powerful nation in the modern world".
This attack showed that we could be hit and hit hard. We as a nation had the "Big Head Syndrome", that no one could touch us. That we had the technology and information to stop any terrorist attack before it reach our shores. Right? I do not want to dishonor in any way, shape , fashion or form; the people that died that day ,nor to disrespect their families or this nation. It is just not wise to believe that the Leaders of this "Great Nation" did not know that this was possible. That this could happen! That a plan was underway by terrorist to use us as a show of power. We must not let them off the hook. I not only mean the terrorist, but our Leaders also!
Whom is truly running this nation, in fact, who is running the world? It isn't you and me. Since God gave us the ability to choose, then why do we always choose to be ignorant? Why do we always choose to accept what people tell us as the truth. We are always told to " seek the truth, and the truth will set you free". But whose truth are you willing to believe? Are you willing to sacrifice your life for someone else's truth or are you willing to fight for the real truth and what is right for all mankind.? Just think about this and remember, if we destroy the world , where are we going to go!

World Family, Guilty
It would seem that when you make every effort to change your life, your family and some friends are the main ones that do not want to forgive you or want to remain blind to the changes you have made in your life. They continue to bring up your past. They will not speck to you, nor call no matter if you are ill or on your deathbed. I mean that, if you call yourself a "spiritual person", a Christian, a Buddhist, a Muslim or Hindu; how is it that you pick and choose who you forgive? Who gave you that right? That means that you have judged that person without them being tried or even specking to them to hear them defend themselves or apologize. In fact you go out of your way not to speck to them. You drive by their home or you see them on the street, but you don't say a word. You don't stop by to ask" why?"
There are certain members that will forgive and forget, your parents, a big Sister or Brother, even that special true friend, but it seems when the word is put out on you. That you had did something wrong , there are always members of your family that will dislike you no matter what you say or do to mend the damaged relationship. They refuse to love you as family and forgive you. Even when you have apologized to all the ones that you have hurt, offended and disrespected. Even when they are taught by their parents, grandparents, and other family members as children to forgive when someone has apologized. I have come to understand that some people, especially family( and some friends), no matter what you do to change, will always find you guilty. They can do things that could land them in jail, and they will still feel that you have done far worst than they have.
I have made every effort not to be anyone judge, jury and executioner. I have been the one that has been guilty of some mean things, just as others have been. I have witnessed actions of people, including family that would make many people ashamed. But I have learned that it is not my job to past that type of judgement, it only belongs to God. How can I ask for forgiveness, if I can't forgive you. If I don't want to be judged, whom am I to judge you? It is painful the things that I have witnessed, have done myself, seen on the news, and read about in regards to what we do to each other. In all situations, it is the choices we make at that time that will effect you and those around you. It will even effect those that you do not even realize unless you pay close attention.
The problems that we face within our families, neighborhoods, nation and around the world is base upon the choice of love and forgiveness, or hate. We are coming to a point in our human existence that we have done more damage to ourselves and this planet than any other generation, including both World Wars combined. Do you realize that we have at least 2 to 5 or more wars or conflicts going on right know and that there growing in number each year. Our choice is not based upon what the governments are doing or on a few so called"secret powers" Even the terrorists do not have that much control as they think, they are being used to . Everything is based upon the family. if we truly all came from the same beginning, one group of people, one tribe, one set of parents; then we are all one family. The human race is one large family. We are doing nothing but judging, hating, killing and destroying our own family. When God gave this planet to us to rule over, it is a test to see how well we do with something small. The entire universe is our inheritance, if we can't take care of this planet how can God trust us with the entire universe? Think about it !
